MASTERPLAN IN BADAJOZ

This project envisages a new neighbourhood for Badajoz adapted to the needs of the 21st century:sustainable, accessible and organised around public space. The new urban area is strategically located close to the university, hospital and technology park, and is designed as an attractive residential area for students, researchers and workers. The plan combines various types of housing unit included in macro-blocks and featuring green spaces, commercial corridors and public and private facilities—such as an international school and a care home for the elderly—, to promote generational diversity. In sum, an innovative, low-density neighbourhood designed for efficient mobility and a high quality of life.
