
This office building replaced a pre-existing hotel and carpark and occupied the same space.
The assignment included its partial demolition, the preservation of the restaurant and ground-floor car park, and the construction of a new volume that, as far as possible, respected the existing vegetation.
The project is organised around two two-storey blocks, together with two basement levels, offset from one another to create intermediate terraces, engage with the natural surroundings and reduce the scale of the building.
The result is a functional building sensitively integrated into a landscaped environment that isolates it from traffic and enhances its domestic and tranquil nature.
